JERSEY Telecoms has appointed a new chair and non-executive director to its board.
Andy Green CBE has been appointed as chair of the telecoms firm. He has held several senior roles, including as chief executive of BT Global Services, and group chief executive of Logica PLC.
Mr Green was awarded a CBE in 2020 for services to the information technology sector and the British space industry.
He said: “JT has a proud history of innovation and service and I’m delighted to be joining the board at such an exciting time.
“The telecoms sector continues to evolve rapidly, and JT is well-positioned to lead in areas such as advanced digital infrastructure, customer experience and world-class managed services.
“I look forward to working with the Board and executive team to help shape JT’s future.”
Brian FitzPatrick has also been welcomed to the board as a non-executive director.
His career includes leadership roles as chief executive of Vodafone Carrier Services and as managing director and president of BT Wholesale.
