THOUSANDS of Islanders have taken the opportunity to visit Howard Davis Park this week, which has been transformed using light and sound for Jersey’s first park illuminations event.
This weekend is the last opportunity for people to visit the Dreaming Trees installation, with the park having welcomed around 17,000 visitors by Thursday evening.
The aim of the light-and-sound show is to encourage Islanders outside and into the park this winter, to showcase Jersey’s trees, and explain more about international scientific research which explores how trees communicate and share resources.
The illuminations run between 6pm and 9pm until on Sunday. Entry is free.
