A POLISH motorist has admitted dangerous driving, driving while above the legal alcohol limit and failing to report an accident – but is being allowed to travel home for Christmas.
Speaking via an interpreter, Artur Kozieja (51) pleaded guilty to the charges in the Magistrate’s Court.
The offences took place on Grande Route de St Jean on 17 December last year.
Assistant Magistrate Peter Harris ordered a background report and released Kozieja on bail – with permission to travel back home to Poland for Christmas.
He will be sentenced on 7 February next year. Mr Harris also imposed an interim driving ban.
