A MAN convicted of supplying cocaine and possessing cash from crime has been ordered to pay back more than £13,000.

Darren Anthony Reece (53) was jailed for seven years and eight months in July this year for possession of drugs with intent to supply and the possession of criminal property.

He had been arrested in March after he was caught with 280 grams of cocaine – with an estimated street value of £40,000 – and a suitcase containing around £12,000 in cash.

In the Royal Court this week, Jurats agreed to a requestfrom the Crown that £13,048.63 should be confiscated

from Reece’s bank account.
