A CONCERT held recently in the Town Church to support victims of the war in Ukraine raised more than £1,300.
The Concert of Ukraine featured a programme of classical music put together by Guernsey resident and Ukrainian pianist, teacher and composer Elena Fedorenko.
It also included pieces by a number of prominent composers from the war-torn country.
Half of the £1,314 raised will go to the Bailiff’s Ukraine Appeal, while the other half will go to British-Ukrainian Aid, a charity which supports people affected by the humanitarian crisis.
