Drugs case to be heard in the Royal Court

Adam Brian Hole (37), of East Grinstead, Sussex, is alleged to have imported the class B drugs cannabis and buprenorphine into the Island on 27 July.

Kieran Davey Rice (31), of Queen’s Road, and Urbino Vieira Rodrigues (29), of Grande Route de St Clement, are alleged to have been in possession of cannabis and Subutex on 31 July.

Mr Rice is also alleged to have been in possession with intent to supply the class B drugs cannabis and buprenorphine on 1 August in a private car park on Green Street.

On the same date he was also allegedly in possession with intent to supply cannabis and the class A drug cocaine at a property in Queen’s Road.

Legal adviser Advocate Darry Robinson told the Magistrate’s Court that the paperwork was in place for the case to be committed to the Royal Court.

Relief Magistrate David Le Cornu said to the defendants: ‘In due course, you will be advised of a date to appear before the Royal Court and in the meantime you will be remanded in custody.’
