Firefighters were called out just before 3 pm on Sunday after a member of the public reported that chairs and curtains were on fire inside the granite building and smoke was pouring out of the windows.
Crews were faced with a small fire in the empty building and had to break in to tackle the blaze.
No one was found inside the building.
