Thousands turn out for Pride

ST Helier's streets turned rainbow yesterday after about 5,000 people turned out to take part in the Island's second Pride parade.

The event marked the end of a week-long celebration which began in Guernsey last weekend.

Liberate, the charity behind the event said that this year's turnout was even bigger than last year's.
