And their parade return has been a true community effort, with events and attractions team Secrets Beneath designing and building the float, Tamba Park providing a building venue, and parishioners on hand to flower it over the coming week.
The 20-ft entry, Minions Marauding in St Mary, features purple minions who have captured Miss St Mary, Fleur Dodd, and, tying in with the theme, the parish are entering in the name of Miss St Mary Rescue Society.
Parish Constable Juliette Gallichan said that the float marked a return to Battle for St Mary, and that they would be back with something bigger next year.
