Ashley Lewis, a former Les Quennevais and Hautlieu student, has been shortlisted for best UK male tattoo artist in this year’s Tattoo Industry Awards.
Although the 32-year-old has always been a keen artist, he began tattooing only three years ago.
Mr Lewis, who currently works in Bournemouth at a tattoo studio called Immaculate Chaos, said it was an honour to be recognised by the industry.
This year’s Tattoo Industry Awards are due to be held from Friday until Sunday at Doncaster Race Course.
