Around 40 volunteers representing the charity will be taking part in both the afternoon and moonlight parades, selling official programmes to spectators and then shaking collection buckets at the end of the events.
And the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity will also be taking part in the parades themselves, with a vintage MG car decorated in local flowers carrying the charity’s mascot dog, Darcey.
In addition to raising awareness through their Battle involvement, the charity will also be benefiting from funds raised on their behalf, both leading up to and during the parades, including a 50 pence donation to them from every programme sold.
If anybody would like to volunteer at the parades on behalf of the charity they are asked to call the charity’s office on 510867 or email admin@jerseybraintumour.com
