According to a report from the Channel Islands Competition and Regulatory Authorities, JT was outperformed by Sure and Airtel in areas including service quality, billing and customer satisfaction for their mobile clients.
And people were more likely to leave JT than any of their rivals, the survey of 1,000 telecoms customers, which is carried out every six months, found.
However, CICRA, which commissioned the independent firm Island Global Research to carry out the survey, said that all three companies were showing improvements – according to the report, 62 per cent of respondents said they were satisfied or very satisfied with JT’s quality of service, compared with 81 per cent for Sure and 83 per cent for Airtel.
