The Musical Originals – a group of 28 girls aged between 11 and 18 – travelled to the City of Derry International Choral Festival where they won first prize in the National Youth Competition and the National Female Voices Competition.
They also finished second in the Sacred Music Competition.
More than 60 national and international choirs made up of thousands of singers took part in the five-day singing event in Northern Ireland.
In addition to winning two, the Musical Originals, led by Imogen Nicholls, received the highest score of any choir throughout the event for their performance in the Female Voices Competition gaining a score of 91.6.
Ms Nicholls said: ‘These girls are just a group of teenagers from Jersey but again and again they are winning international competitions and putting Jersey on the map.
‘The judges in the Female Voice Competition could not believe that the girls were so young – these girls are so fantastic and they work so hard, they’re a real credit to the Island.
‘And we were one of the only choirs that sang a capella – without any accompaniment whatsoever – which takes such discipline, dedication and confidence.’
The contest ran from Wednesday 21 October and ended on Sunday.
