The school has won £500 worth of interactive playground equipment from Island business Form CI.
Jersey College for Girls Prep will also receive the same award in the first round of prize-giving during the four-week competition.

The head teacher of St Mary’s School, Maria Stegenwalner, said that it was ‘absolutely awesome’ for her school to be one of the two spot-prize winners.
She said: ‘Being selected to win the prize is absolutely fantastic – I really can’t believe our good fortune.
‘We were only talking about the need to develop our current playground equipment the other day, but we don’t have the budget to buy anything at the moment, so there really couldn’t have been a better time to receive the news.
‘This will really help create some more exciting opportunities for the children at playtime, so we are very thankful.’
This year the JEP, in connection with the One Foundation and Form CI, will be giving away £18,000 to Island primary schools – £3,000 more than last year.
As in previous years, pupils from participating schools are collecting tokens published in the JEP every day and posting them into collection boxes in their classrooms.
Schools are divided into three categories according to size.
At the end of the competition, the primaries with the most tokens in each category will be awarded £2,000, with the runners-up receiving £1,000.
A separate prize of £5,000 will be awarded to one school by the One Foundation, while Form CI will be giving away £4,000 in spot prizes.
Last year, 25 out of the Island’s 32 primary schools registered for Cash4Schools and almost a quarter of a million tokens were collected during the campaign.
Sharon Eddie, head teacher at one of last year’s winners, Mont à l’Abbé, said that the money had proved instrumental to the building of a new playground.
Mrs Eddie said: ‘We were building a new castle-themed playground, which we had been fundraising for for four years.
‘The money from Cash4Schools allowed us to finish the project.
‘It’s a fantastic facility with slides and bridges, toadstool seats and an X-Factor performance area.
‘It allows able-bodied children to play in the same area as disabled children, which you do not find in any park.
‘It is only because of this money that we will be able to open the playground in a few weeks’ time.’

- Organised by the Jersey Evening Post and The One Foundation, the four-week promotion will run from 21 September until 17 October, during which period schools are once again being encouraged to collect the tokens published daily in the JEP.
- Participating schools have once again been given collection boxes into which pupils can post their tokens.
- All tokens have the same value so students can keep track of the schools progress and see the box filling up each day.
- At the end of the promotion, boxes will then be weighed to find out which school has collected the most tokens. The winning boxes will then be verified to ensure that nothing other than tokens have been dropped in.
- The cash can be spent on anything that will benefit the school community. Schools could use it to improve a current area of their school, or to create a new area. Or they could spend it on school resources such as books, new sports equipment, computers, or play equipment.
- As this is a community initiative, as well as collecting the daily tokens themselves, pupils, staff and parents are also encouraged to get their friends, families, neighbours, and even local businesses to collect them on their behalf. The more tokens you have, the more chance youve got of winning some cash!
