Attempts were made to fix the rudder on Saturday night but were hampered by cold weather, leaving some passengers stranded for a second night.
A total of 198 passengers were affected by Saturday’s cancellations, although most of the 125 passengers who were due to sail between Jersey and Guernsey transferred onto the high-speed ferry.
A further 141 people – including 71 inter-island passengers – were unable to sail on Sunday because of the second day of cancellation and passengers were moved onto today’s fast ferry.
The Clipper was due to leave Portsmouth at 9 am today for its first sailing in three days with room for all remaining passengers.
