Four remaining positions were expected to be filled on Friday for Social Security, Education, Housing and Planning and the Environment – along with votes to elect Scrutiny Panel chairmen and other elected roles in the Assembly.
No positions went unchallenged on Thursday and the vote for a new Treasury Minister – arguably the second most powerful position in the Council of Minister’s line-up – saw the closest contest of the day.
Full report in Friday’s JEP.
