Police were called to a property in St Helier at 3.45 am yesterday after receiving reports of the incident.
The alleged victim, aged 53, was flown to Southampton General Hospital for treatment yesterday. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 41-year-old man, who was known to the victim, was arrested in connection with the alleged stabbing and has since been released pending further inquiries.
