Following a meeting with External Relations Minister Sir Philip Bailhache in Paris last week, the French authorities are said to have made it clear that they will remove Jersey from the list as soon as a number of cases where information has been requested but is still outstanding have been resolved.

However, those cases – of which there are understood to be fewer than ten – are currently being appealed by the individuals or institutions which are required to hand over the information and will need to be resolved in the Royal Court.
