The Jersey Youth Service has teamed up with Jersey Property Holdings to submit plans to redevelop the site.

The groups want to demolish the existing Queen’s Silver Jubilee centre, which opened in 1981, and replace it with a single-storey chalet. The cost of the project is estimated at £926,000.

If approved by the planning applications panel, the project could start early next year and be completed next autumn
