The committee in charge of States reform and standards, Privileges and Procedures, has lodged a proposition with the Assembly calling for a detailed list of improvements to be made to the Public Elections Law and legislation linked to it.

Their recommendations include introducing online registration, more pre-poll voting in out-of-town locations, larger ballot papers, photos of candidates in polling booths and web streaming of hustings.

They also want the States to look into electronic voting using touch-screen technology and propose to allow prisoners at La Moye being held on remand to vote by post.
