All Islanders wanting to get a job or move home now need to show one of the new cards to prove that they have lived in Jersey long enough.
The registration cards, which have been brought in under the new Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law, will show Islanders’ names, social security numbers, the date of issue and residential status.
Anyone who wants to move home or job now has to show their card to prove that they have the required housing or work qualifications.
