Lany De Freitas and Melissa Morshead came first in the open duet ballet category on Thursday afternoon.
The international contest has been taking place throughout this week in Brighton, featuring almost 3,000 competitors from 39 countries, including 107 Jersey dancers.
The gold-winning duo are students at the First Tower School of Dancing. Both aged 18, they have been duet partners for five years and began working on the two and a half minute routine, called In Memoriam, in the middle of last year.
