I WAS somewhat alarmed to see fully armed police officers at the RJ&HS show in Trinity on Saturday.
Is this an indication of things to come or did they get the location wrong? The French invaders were at the twinning games in St Brelade, so maybe that was where they were meant to be.
Surely the intimidating presence of armed officers in a country parish is inappropriate and a mistake that should not be repeated.
