A consultation has been launched by the Channel Islands Competition and Regulatory Authorities seeking comments on proposed changes to the rules governing the way phone operators are able to vary deals.
Currently the companies are free to alter deals that are already in force without the phone user having any recourse.
The decision to review the current rules followed on from several complaints made to CICRA as a result of a decision by JT to remove a 100 Mbits monthly allocation of free data from 9,000 customers.
