CPA Global has acquired First to File, a developer of electronic document management systems specifically tailored for the intellectual property (IP) industry.
No figures were given as to the value of the purchase deal as both are private companies.
CPA Global chief executive Peter Sewell said the new acquisition was an innovative company with excellent products and technical capabilities, strong client relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
