After yesterday’s snow resulted in schools being closed, many bus services cancelled and vehicles abandoned, the bus service is operating according to schedule today, and after staying open late last night, Jersey Airport are hoping that most services will operate as usual.
However, the aircraft carrying newspapers was slightly delayed, landing at 7.30 am, and bad weather in the UK means that other delays are expected. Passengers are advised to check in as usual, unless informed otherwise.
The temperature remained above freezing last night and forecasters say that today will be cloudy with isolated sleet or rain showers, more especially later, with a maximum temperature of 3 C.
The advice to drivers and pedestrians is to take care as snow and ice thaw.
