Postmen and women got up at the crack of dawn with just their bikes, boots and special packages to shoot the calendar which has gone on sale to raise money for brain-injury charity Headway.
Catherine Gasston, the marketing manager at Jersey Post, said: ‘We were quite nervous about it because we were not sure that we would get many volunteers, but we got 16 – four girls and 12 boys. Guernsey Post did something similar when they had Headway as their chosen charity.’
She added: ‘We got up very early to do the outdoor shots and threw caution to the wind and then apologised to any walkers or passers-by who may have got more than they bargained for. People were interested to know what we were doing and thought it was great.’
