Assistant Chief Minister Senator Sir Phillip Bailhache, is due to address the Jersey Association of Trust Companies’ annual fiduciary seminar.
He will be giving a presentation entitled: ‘Government response to negative views of Jersey from some jurisdictions.’
And members of the trust industry will also get a clearer picture of the issues they will face in relation to the new US FATCA regulations.
The States director of Tax Policy, Wendy Martin, and Xavier Isaac, chief executive of Investec Trust Group will give a joint presentation entitled: ‘FATCA from a government and industry perspective.’
