Wayne Lowe, who has been fishing the Island’s waters for 25 years, said that he was surprised to pull up the tangerine-hued crustacean on Sunday.
He said: ‘I’ve never actually caught one although I think there’s been a couple over the last ten years.
‘I thought it was fantastic. It was lovely to see because it looked so different to anything I’ve ever seen.’
