Students were this morning collecting their results, which show an overall pass rate of 99.5 per cent – the same as last year.
In total, 501 students were entered for 1,477 exams – with students achieving an A* or A in 30.7 per cent of them. In 2011, the equivalent figure was 35.6 per cent.
Head teachers say that they are delighted with another set of impressive results.
