Friday’s opening to the 2012 Olympics was years in the making and cost millions, but it captured the world’s attention and was hailed as a stunning piece of live performance.
And part of the excitement and spectacle were three people from Jersey – Tom Ashcroft, Chris Scott and Freya Richardson – who played key roles in the show.
