Islanders have been flocking to the beach to bask in glorious sunshine after a dismal start to the summer finally turned around at the weekend.
The mercury hit a high of 27°C yesterday and the trend is set to continue in the short term with warm weather forecast until Thursday.
It’s not just office workers and tourists who are enjoying the recent burst of sunshine – business owners are revelling in the hot weather as well.
