After four weeks of collecting tokens from the JEP, primary and secondary school teachers joined students to hear if they had done enough to win a share of £10,000.
The three first-prize winners were Le Rocquier School, St Clement’s Primary School and Helvetia House School with seven other schools receiving runner-up prizes ranging from £500 to £1,000.
Sponsored by Island charitable organisation the One Foundation, this year’s competition was bigger and better than last year’s inaugural contest, with 115 million points collected between the 31 schools that took part.
