Chief Minister: Two go head to head

The pair were the only two candidates to file nomination papers for the position by yesterday’s deadline, and the new States Chamber will have to make its decision on Monday.

The sitting starts at 1 pm and the two candidates will make a ten-minute speech and will then field 40 minutes of questions from States colleagues before the voting, which will take place by open ballot.

The candidates have both filed ‘manifestos’ which can be read at the www.statesassembly.gov.je website.
