Sir Philip, who topped the poll in last week’s Senatorial election with a record 17,538 votes, made States reform his main platform during the campaign.
The only declared candidate for Chief Minister so far to replace Senator Terry Le Sueur, who is retiring, is Senator Ian Le Marquand.
Others who have been mentioned as possible candidates are Senator-elect Ian Gorst and Senators Philip Ozouf, Paul Routier and Alan Breckon.
