Jersey Electricity said today that it was freezing tariffs until the spring.
Apart from a two per cent increase caused by GST, electricity prices have not risen since 1 January 2009, when they increased by 24 per cent.
On 1 January 2010 tariffs were reduced by five per cent, and have been frozen ever since. It is understood that they will reviewed in March.
