The 36-year-old prop has signed a two year contract with the Island side as player-coach.
He will be head coach Ben Harvey’s assistant and be in charge of the forwards.
It is clear to see that Evans is a rugby purest – he lives and breathes the sport and is passionate about helping Harvey take the team to the next level.
‘My aim now is to be part of this revolution,’ he said. ‘If I can help mould and shape this team, bring some young lads through and play well myself, then I’ll be a very happy man.’
