The youngster was playing in the area of Whiteley Close, Grands Vaux, when he was allegedly assaulted by two men.
Although police have released few details of the incident, residents have said that the boy was lured away into a secluded area before being sexually assaulted.
Speaking at the scene yesterday, DI Chris Beechey, the head of States police CID, confirmed that the boy ‘did not suffer physical injuries’ and did not require hospital treatment.
