Karl Cardy (33) was arrested after his ex-partner found a CD of sickening images of child abuse and handed it in at police headquarters.
Cardy, who is unemployed and lives with his parents, received the disc from his friend Simon Green, who himself was jailed by the Royal Court last month for possessing indecent images of children.
