Along with everyone else, the people of Jersey witnessed a new generation of British royalty, in which a young prince and the woman he loves added their very relaxed style and obvious close friendship as an important dimension to their wedding ceremony.
More union flags, and red, white and blue bunting were seen around the Island than for many years, and people took advantage of the age of the big screen to bring this historical occasion of the wedding of the future King into their living rooms.
