Pupils from St Martin’s School have been studying the history of the Island’s Census and its importance to Jersey, before it is hand-delivered to homes on 27 March.
The States’ head statistician, Duncan Gibaut, visited the school to explain why it was important for people to take part.
He said that the Census, which was last taken in 2001, also tied in with a study the children had been doing on the history of the Victorians.
