Eddie Le Cornu (58) does not want to chop the Scots pine tree down but
says that the tree is now dead and he fears that someone could get injured by a falling branch.
The 100-foot tree and a smaller one next to it at the house Broadlands, in Queen’s Road, past Amal-Grow in St John, is to be felled tomorrow. But another large tree closer to the road is still alive and will be kept.
