JERSEY triathlete Daniel Halksworth has signed a professional contract and will train with the man he describes as ‘the best coach in the world’.

Currently based in Thailand the 24-year-old, who will remain the Island’s triathlon development officer, is now working with world renowned trainer Brett Sutton, having signed with Team TBB.

Halksworth, who won this year’s Ogier Jersey Triathlon and took a silver medal at the 2007 NatWest Island Games, is thrilled at the latest development in his career.
