A 25-14 National II South defeat at illustrious Richmond not only ended Jersey RFC’s incredible run of wins, which included triumph at Twickenham, but also knocked the Island outfit off top spot and into third place in this season’s race for a place in National I.
However, a Jersey squad hit hard by injuries and enforced absences in recent weeks, and one that perhaps was feeling the strain of their unbeaten run – a well-recognised sporting phenomena – has the perfect opportunity to hit back immediately as they host the new league leaders, and pre-season favourites, Ealing this Saturday.
