The Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority has published a study which shows huge savings for Island consumers as a result of its work.
For example, in the housing market, the report says that the abolition of the one per cent conveyancing fee on house purchases had achieved total savings of about £8.75 million since its introduction at the start of 2006.
