The cuts, worth £249,000, are part of the Health and Social Services department’s proposed two per cent cuts for next year.
But Deputy Geoff Southern has tabled an amendment to next year’s Business Plan to reverse the cuts and keep the pool, the three physiotherapists and two support staff.
