The Plumbing Company Limited had been working at the Ommaroo Hotel, Havre des Pas, last October when asbestos-lagged pipes were uncovered by an apprentice plumber.
The Royal Court heard yesterday that the hotel had been told in 2007 to have an asbestos survey carried out but no such inspection was done.
