MEMBERS of the Jersey Normandy Veterans Association remembered their fallen colleagues at a ceremony at the Cenotaph yesterday to mark the 66th anniversary of D-Day.

Association president Clive Kemp led Deputy Bailiff William Bailhache and the Constable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft, onto the parade ground, and Mr Bailhache was introduced to the veterans.

Nine members of the association took part in the ceremony, as well as other ex-servicemen and six standard bearers.
