Today the telecom industry regulator has removed legal barriers that have, until now, restricted the States-owned utility company’s ability to introduce cut-price offers.
As a result of the decision, JT will no longer have to give 21 days advance notice of its intention to launch special offers or discounts to mobile customers.
Now the regulatory chains have been cut and it is likely that there will be even more competition between the Island’s three mobile phone businesses.
