Discussions among the players at training on Tuesday evening have resulted in 13 or 14 making a U-turn and now committing financially to the four-team tournament that includes 60-minute matches against Scottish Premier League clubs Motherwell and Hamilton Academicals and Guernsey Athletics.
The tournament was officially announced on Monday, but Scottish was not named as the fourth side to feature because they were undecided because of financial considerations.

Scottish coach and former Island manager, Dave Kennedy, said: ‘Obviously a sponsor would make a big, big difference but nothing has materialised yet.
